The original "A" class were constructed to a design by Mr Cameron who succeeded Mr Hughes in 1912. It was another 0-6-2T with 5' 3" diameter driving wheels and primarily intended for passenger working. Manufactured by 3 different builders between 1914 and 1921.

GWR Rebuilt Taff Vale A Class Data Sheet
The GWR started to modify the class from 1926 right thru to 1950. The Mods included a No 10 standard taper boiler, a Western style bunker, but retained their Taff Vale side tanks. There were minor differences with the class and the modeler is recommended to work from a picture if at all possible.
This kit is a multimedia with Nickel Silver etches, some Cast Brass parts and some 3D printed parts, those that might be vulnerable, a strong ABS like material. As per normal wheels, motor/gearbox, paint and transfers required to finish.
